What a mind-blowingly awesome stay! The hotel may be basic, but it's super clean and refreshingly simple. Despite the scorching weather and lack of air conditioning, the staff were incredibly helpful. Even though not all of them spoke English, they went above and beyond to assist. Although the breakfast options for gluten-free peeps were limited, my friend enjoyed it. And guess what? The hotel's proximity to the train station makes it a jaw-droppingly good base for exploring nearby towns. Oh, and let's not forget the delightful village of Clisson, definitely worth a stay. Plus points for a light and airy restaurant with delicious food. The facilities may be a bit tired and basic, but the price is reasonable and the bed, sheets, flat-screen TV, and car park are all great. And did I mention that free Wi-Fi and pets are allowed? Superb!

The room in Hotel De La Gare was cozy and comfortable, with a wardrobe to neatly store my clothes. As a solo traveler, it felt like a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring.
Though I loved my stay, personally, I found the breakfast options at the hotel a bit limited.

Located near a train station with rail links to other towns, the hotel provides a convenient base for exploration. The rooms are basic yet clean, and the staff, although limited in English proficiency, are helpful. The village of Clisson, where the hotel is situated, is a charming and delightful place to visit.
The hotel lacks air conditioning, making it uncomfortable during hot summer nights.

The hotel had a convenient location with easy access to the town center and nearby attractions. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with the necessary information for a comfortable stay. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms, with clean sheets and towels provided.
The hotel could benefit from a renovation as it felt a bit outdated and worn. the bathroom was quite small and could use some improvements.

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it a great base for exploring the surrounding towns. The restaurant offers delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere.
The lack of air conditioning was a downside, especially during the hot weather. The gluten-free breakfast options were limited, making it difficult for those with dietary restrictions.

I recently stayed at La Gare hotel in Clisson during my travels, and although my stay was brief, I found a couple of positive aspects worth mentioning. the hotel's location was perfect for transit purposes, as it is conveniently situated near the nearest airport, which is only 35 km away. This made it incredibly convenient for me to catch my flight without any hassle. the hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay for the duration of my transit.
I must mention one minor negative aspect that I encountered during my stay. The hotel database mentioned that there is no car park available, which could be inconvenient for guests who are traveling with their own vehicles.
